As
festivals are now an integral part of entertainment here in Ireland,
it is vital that entertainers can adapt a show to fit any
environment. Pat Fallon has a show to suit any festival or outdoor
event from large-scale illusions to family and children's shows.
He has recognised the importance of adapting outdoor shows to suit
all ages. At festivals, passing audiences can vary from Grans and
Grandads to tots and teens and it is vital to ensure that they are
all entertained.
When
working outdoors it is essential that a performer is both seen and
heard. Pat travels his own P.A. system, which for outdoor work
requires no power source, he also brings his own platform to work
on, which ensures everybody has a good view.
Along
with larger shows close up and walk around magic is ideal for
festivals as the magician mingles with the crowd and performs right
before their eyes. Pat
is extremely experienced in festival entertaining having performed
at many
throughout the country including the Westport Arts festival,
Ennis Arts Festival, Mitchlestown Festival, Waterford Spraoi, Baboro
International Children's Festival and Dublin City Council entertainment
Sundays to name just a few.
In
the past Pat has performed illusion shows, close up magic, pre
parade entertainment and supplied all the magical content for
Ireland's largest festival: the St. Patrick's festival in Dublin.
This is a festival that is constantly gaining momentum and now runs
for three days over the St. Patrick's Weekend.
